• We combine many small batches of products into one large batch by one method of transportation in order to save transportation costs. This process can be characterized as consolidation.

• We divide large batches of goods into smaller ones for transportation in order to simplify, speed up and make the process of delivery to the buyer less costly. This process can be called "deconsolidation".
